First Walk Outside

March came in like a lion, will it really leave like a lamb???

It reached the mid-60's on St. Patrick's Day.  What a tease, I know!  Below are pictures of Maddy on her first walk outside.  We had fun testing out our new camera!

Here I am on my street, Ravineside Drive!.

I'm not a fan of hats.

I wasn't asleep, I swear. (Ha!)

Daddy is obsessed with taking pictures of me with our new camera!

Blue eyes!

I love to smile...

But, I love to scream even more!

Glamour Shots

Favorite Photos

Our new camera arrived today!  In memory of our old camera, I thought I would post some of our favorite photos of Maddy Monkey!

We bought the old camera for our honeymoon.  It has been good to us for nearly 5 years...and is still kickin'!

2 Month Checkup

Bad Day

Maddy received her her very first round of shots yesterday, March 14, 2011.  When we went in for her 2 month checkup, I did not know she was getting shots, but it's just as well that I had little time to prepare for the traumatic event.  She cried historically, which made me cry as well.  Fortunately today she is all better.  Her next check up is at 4 months, and Daddy is coming too!

I was so tired after my terrible day.

Check out the awesome star baindaid on my leg!

Daddy let me suck his pinkie to help calm me down.  I also had cool towels on my legs.  It helped the swelling.

Here are the stats on our little peanut...

8 weeks, 4 days
Height:  22.5 in (58%)
Weight:  9 lb 10 oz (22%)
Head:  37.5 cm (20%)

Clearly she is the runt of the Haberstroh's...

Out and About

Maddy has been getting out more and more lately.  She does NOT like being alone in the back of the car, but if we time it right (and pray real hard), she'll fall asleep!

Mall Rat
Here I am in front of the mall directory at 12 Oaks...
I was looking for my favorite store, Gymboree!
Mommy and Daddy took me here last Saturday night.  Daddy went to Sears to talk about lawn tractors, while Mommy and I got to check out the new spring arrivals at Gymboree!

Here I am shopping at Target!  Mommy took me here.  We were shopping for some of Daddy's B-Day gifts (and yes, somehow ended up in the makeup aisle)!

This is me and my friend at the mall on our parent supervised date.  Note how he likes putting his arm around my stroller!  He's sooooo cute.  Daddy isn't so sure about me having a boyfriend already.

This is Daddy and me at Gus O'Connors for fish and chips.  Mommy just bought me this hair bow...(I know, don't laugh)!  The funny thing is Daddy just told Mommy today that he thinks I need a haircut.  Mommy laughed so hard.  I DON'T THINK SO!  Boys...

Below are more pictures of me and some of my favorites at dinner!

Sleeping Beauty

Guess Who's Sleeping Through The Night???

I don't want to jinx it, but starting at about 6 1/2 weeks she began sleeping through the night!  This last week or so she has been consistently going down at around 10:30pm and getting up at 6:00am, to only grab a quick bite to eat and go right back down until about 9:30am.  Now if only I can get her to nap as well as she sleeps at night...

With all this sleep I've been getting, I wake up so happy!

Check out that Beaumont Baby Halo Sleepsack...the hospital gave it to us!  It's worth having a baby there just to get that free Halo Sleepsack!  FYI, they also gave us a beautiful silver rattle and other parting gifts.

Here I am playing around instead of Napping...Sshhhh, don't tell Mommy!

What Things Cost

What Things Cost
in Winter of 2011
I thought it would be fun to do a "What Things Cost" post.  Just like a baby book, we need a page to remember the outrageous prices of things these days.  Gas is absolutely ridiculous!

Gallon of Milk:  $2.99
Loaf of Bread:  $2.79
2-Liter of Soda:  $1.49
First-Class Stamp:  $0.47
Gallon of Gas:  $3.55
Movie Ticket: $9.00
Newspaper:  $1.00 Daily, $1.50 Sunday

Bath Night!

Splish splash, I was takin' a bath...

Grandma took this photo when she was in town visiting from Florida.

One of my first "baths" was just a sponge bath.

Daddy thinks I look like a pig here!

Now that I'm 6 weeks old, I actually smile during bath time.

A rub-a-dub, just relaxin' in the tub...

Here I am chillin' in my big kid tub!

I love getting my hair done...just like Mommy.

Last dunk before towel time!

They was a-splishin' and a'splashin'
Reelin' with the feelin', movin' and a 'groovin'
Rockin' and a'rollin'
